Mixed feelings. Can’t say it is not a good movie but it was very much around sex, wasn’t it? I mean, I’m super glad she explored her body, her sexuality and all the sensations and feelings around, tho I just feel that perhaps pleasure and (women) emancipation goes beyond that…and yet it was almost if not entirely centralized in sex. And if it was, more could have been explored
P.S.: she should have tried to eat pastéis de nata with a spoon :))
I found the title quite unimaginative at first but it is just right - perfect days: how else would be a perfect day but when one has the time (not only physically speaking) to smile at the sky, picture it every single afternoon, read books from the local library, to not pile up but develop your films on a weekly basis, listen to cassettes, good old cassettes (where’s that shop? Spotify?) and…play galo with a stranger. We should rethink our lives:) happiness (better yet plenitude) doesn’t lie in big things, nor big jobs (plus “big” and “jobs” are subjective enough)
