  As someone who’s about to have a baby, I get it.

  I legit don’t get the hate, I feel like it’s a metaphor for the weight of getting older, redefining yourself, and the prospect of losing control and needing care just like your own baby. Brandy is repeatedly infantilized in this movie, and isn’t that the whole idea…? Also generational trauma and leaving behind the opinions of those who raised you and left you scars. Idk, solid performances, fun writing, wild ride.
