  Based on Barbara Gowdy's short story "We So Seldom Look on Love", and inspired by the real life crimes of Karen Greenlee, this one manages to be disturbing while showing very little (at least, compared to other similar films). It's a short watch at only 80 minutes and it will stay with you. Recommend you check your trigger warnings.

  She puts a lot of herself into her art. I mean, a lot. And those puppets have to smell bad under those lights after a day or so, that's all I'm saying.

  Ninety minutes is the perfect length for this nunsploitation, and I was never bored...feels like a seventies movie through and through, with some beautiful cinematography and some strong imagery. Delivers what its premise promises.

Following
