Enjoyed it. Supporting cast was great. Film was a little slow and while I appreciate all the work Mikey had to do to play Anora, I don’t feel like that was a best actress Oscar performance against Demi Moore in The Substance. Also def not a best picture Oscar winner for me.

My birthday is on June 14th so I could’ve been a target….
I enjoyed the film. From the cinematography to the casting and music, everything had a purpose. Nic Cage did a great job and was certainly creepy enough to give me nightmares. I caught a few odes to Silence of the Lambs and the style of the film felt very David Lynch.
There were so many shots of the Bill Clinton painting that I was starting to think he was the man downstairs.

For the first 15 minutes I wasn’t sure about this film but it quickly grew on me. The love triangle is scintillating and you are never one hundred percent sure who is fucking whom over. In the end the only true relationship prevails. The camera shots were very well done and as soon as I saw Trent Reznor did all of the music, the entire score made perfect sense. The ending was perfect.
