  Two things: 

  first thing:
  I watched this on a road trip and could see the confusion on my mother’s face next to me as the movie progressed 

  Second thing: 
  this movie is the embodiment of a buffet where you take a tiny amount of food from every tray and eat 60% of it and the rest is just there

  Glorified snuff film.
  I understand why people are walking out of the theater, because I wanted to just from the anxiety that I felt. I think that this franchise has turned into a potential ‘awakening’ for fucked up people who fantasize about doing fucked up things.
  I wouldn’t be surprised when reports of future killers mention these movies, specifically this one, in the inspiration behind these potential acts of violence. 

   I appreciate a lot about these movies, but this one…

  Poor Things 2023

  There are two positive things I have to say about this film. 

  I appreciate the film’s portrayal of pedophilia without the endangerment of minors within the actress and within the character. Men preying on innocence is very real, whether within age or mentality, and I do appreciate how this film expressed that. 

  The whole movie was shot beautifully. A meticulously thoight-out film full of contrast within characters, script, design, etc.
