As someone with a [low-level] coaching background, Moneyball resonated strongly with me in numerous ways. The courage to defy conventional practices and innovate the game (shout out Daryl Morey and Mike D’Antoni). The anxiety that comes with uncertainty, exacerbated by the vocal politics of the ‘dinosaurs’. The anguish associated with difficult conversations such as player trades/cuts.
