Really an all-timer. Damien Karras is probably one of my favourite horror movie characters of all time and he makes a beautiful return in The Exorcist III. I love the dialogue in this movie so much. There are some very creepy scenes even if some of them may not have aged super well (girlfriend was laughing lol). Also, not really relevant to the movie itself but this movie might have my favourite movie poster of all time. A great way to send off HoopTober :)

I loved this movie. The crazy family is so fun I was so sad when they all blowed up. The cook is my fave.

This was a very eerie and unsettling movie as the world quietly and discreetly comes to an end. I loved the cinematography and the special effects. The design of the aliens and plants was very creepy. I also really liked the characters which made this movie all the more sad. There’s not really much to root for once you get about halfway through the movie and realize it’s all over for earth and that basically everyone has already been body-snatched.  The whole second half of the movie is watching the characters delay their inevitable and depressing end.

I absolutely love found footage horror movies so I’m a little biased but I thought this was a pretty good one. I loved the premise of it being a ghost hunting show in an abandoned asylum. There were some pretty spooky scenes and a few really good jump scares. You really feel a sense of dread throughout the film as everything keeps going wrong. A good movie that I’d happily rewatch since I already love the genre so much.
