  I’m not a French history buff, so I can’t speak for its historically accuracy, but in terms of spectacle this movie delivers…ish. 
  Lots of funny moments played very seriously, reminded me of Barry Lyndon and Death of Stalin.

  Solid spooky flick, good October watch. The super staged and exaggerated sets and shots are beautiful and eerie, however some scenes drag because they feel too similar to scenes we've already seen before. The story feels very surreal and fairytale-like, and it has a really fun 3rd Act that really shakes things up. Might be fun with a group!
