  This movie was extremelyyyy important to me as a child & I had not revisited it until now! i used to watch it on a vcr player at my grandfather’s house in Coupeville, which I feel was a perfectly fitting setting (simply in terms of a grandparently presence and Coupeville being a quasi-fishing town where I spent many a day on the beach)…. I was legitimately shocked by how well it stands today, and further, by how beautiful of a message(s)…
