  Sooooo fantastic. like an episode of the west wing, this movie is a peek into an imaginary bygone era of honor and decency, an era where justice DID exist sometimes, where men wore suit jackets and called each other sir while fighting for a better world. obviously this era never existed and these men were rarely champions, but it is very comforting to visit it every once in a while…

  #7 looks just like tim robinson in courtroom fedora and #3 looks just like jason segel and #2 looks just like bob balaban… do u see where I’m going with this… modern comedy spoof now!!

  pro gunk pro worm pro funk pro dirt!!

  by far the most unsettling and upsetting lynch i’ve seen thus far, but also by far the easiest to understand on the metaphorical plane —though that’s partly because I know about the wife of it all.

  very profoundly moving and important to me. cried many many times. cannot recommend highly enough watching this in a room full of northampton lesbians and staying till the credits are done and watching them all walk out and singing the credit song (watershed) together bc everyone’s been itching to sing all movie and maybe chatting a little with the nice older lesbian to your left who, when they first cut to a young amy & emily whispered “oh, baby dykes” so softly and fondly and then wiped her eyes at the same time you did for the rest of the movie.
