American Symphony 2023
That documentary simply had everything I love : a peak of the creative process behind making art (both for Jon and Suleika), great music, and a story blending fame/success and tragedy that is so very human. There’s no moral to it, no overarching message, it’s just life, made beautiful by artists. Loved it.

A great movie that probably deserves a whole star more, it just wasn’t a movie for me. Great acting, fun directing, the tension is so strong I couldn’t stop it even though I had a physical reaction to it.

Dune: Part Two 2024
Beautiful in every sense of the word, but lacking in emotional connection. Amazing acting on everybody’s part. Very little chemistry between Zendaya and Timothée Chalamet. The movie didnt make me care about any of the characters besides Paul essentially.
