I was very much looking forward to watching this after hearing how excellent it was. I wanted to like it. I watched Demi Moore's speech about her typecasting in film and felt an urge to watch.

I was disappointed by the lack of nuance and felt this film was generally a very sad and disturbing watch.
It's on trend with the recent wave of films that are creepy in atmosphere, similar vibe to Triangle Of Sadness (which i loved) and…

Visually stunning. A slow and murky walk in the shoes of an outcast.

Hagazussa is a folk horror story with gorgeous layers of symbolism. The main character, is a woman who seems to have inherited a life of loneliness and isolation. A perpetual cycle that she cannot seem to escape.
Thought provoking, the heavy burden of solitary motherhood and the experience of being a woman with no power. Witchcraft being a tool for those that society pushes out or have…

A very engaging and entertaining film.

An unconventional and sexually charged love story that goes all kinds of wrong, but not completely!
Kristen Stewart has now fully morphed into Shane from the L word and we are here for it.
I should have guessed by the title that there would be some blood shed and horror involved.
It felt very fresh and it kept me guessing throughout.
    Thoroughly enjoyed.

    My first review here!

I thought this film brilliantly captured the feeling of the mid 90's.
As someone who was a young child during this time, I remember how normal it was to be bored, to have nothing else to do than wander around the neighborhood looking for friends or snooping in a sibling's room.

This film also seems to be an empathetic glance into the experience of the transition from boyhood into adulthood. A confusing and painful time.

I remember similar films being made and put out during the 90's and i very much enjoy this style of film.
