  Did I mess up by watching Mulholland Drive as my entrée into David Lynch films? Because this wasn't quite it for me.

  File this one away in "Good movies I don't think I will ever watch again". I was on edge the whole time, and enjoyed the suspense and the unsettling feeling of the scenes and the score. Lots of enticing details of shadow, mirrors, the way the camera panned and halted suddenly in an unnatural way, that emphasized the eeriness.

  My first Eggers movie so perhaps my appreciation will grow!
