i’m happy i’ve reached the point in my life where i can understand that the conversation of her and her husband in their bed was way more impactful for her than the unexplored connection with her childhood love. i love how they’ve made the husband supportive when she needs it the most. that is truly what love is. this encounter had to happen for them to move on from the idea they had about each other, and most important, it needed to happen for her to meet and say goodbye to what she could have been if her family hadn’t immigrated.
