This is a great film. The film making techniques make this film so funny with the cheesy sound effects and constant sexualizing cuts to asses of women. Our character is a Black bachelor who is looking for love in France, and racism, which at most times is only implied, is the main focus of the film. He gets three days to feel free and his freedom, both physically and sexually, leads to the same spot he was in at the end of the film. I wonder what more films would be like if Black filmmakers kept making films about their lives and experiences.

The Birth of a Nation 1915
The best example that history isn't always written by the victors. This film is disgusting, abhorrently racist, and gives a lot of context as to why there are racist assholes spouting ahistorical bullshit today.

Cocaine Bear 2023
A film that doesn't take itself to seriously and does a brilliant job at embracing its own absurdity. It's a nonsensical film that knows it is nonsense and that's what makes it great. A whole lotta fun to watch when you just wanna turn your brain off.
