  I could have guessed that Moffat wrote that. It’s filled with both what he does best and worst – I won’t say in which category I put the short and aerial shots of London with the jazzy music.

  I thought about stopping halfway through the first episode. The vision and portrayal of women/activists was, as per usual, quite infuriating. What kept me watching was the quality of the writing, the theatricality of every dialogue and the actors, obviously, the actors.…

  Je lis les critiques positives et j’ai envie de hurler. Je ne comprends pas comment j’ai pu voir le même film, j’ai cru que je n’allais jamais sortir de cette salle de cinéma.
  Le texte est mal écrit, bourré de poncifs du discours amoureux, de phrases toutes faites qu’on pourrait cocher sur un bingo, même les plans sont parfois vus et revus - franchement l’orage au moment de la confrontation finale, on peut pas faire l’impasse ?

  Not *technically* à film but it’s on Letterboxd soooooo…

  A TRULY breathtaking performance – what can’t this man do? At one point my cheeks started hurting because I had bee smiling without realizing it for several minutes, just amazed at Andrew Scott.

  
  PS: A little less judgement of Helena’s character in the directing would have been nice but that’s always an issue I feel.
