  I started watching this because I really wanted to see how they dealt with the actual legal side of the affair, if it went beyond just the (actually quite intense) sex scenes and stuff. Really glad it tried to approach that head on, especially with the ending, but it still felt a bit neat for me. Very glad the brother brought Claire up short when she started trying to blame her childhood however. That being said, the music was so weird. I didn’t want to watch it but I didn’t want to stop watching either, just to see where it went and how it ended!

  I really enjoy Jackson’s work and this made me want to read more of it. Despite Moss’ weird Scientology connections this was a really enjoyable watch. Filmed in such a spectacular way! Would want to see more of Decker’s work after this.

  Didn’t find it to be a very realistic portrayal of divorce. Didn’t connect with any of the characters, in fact I didn’t really wish any of them well. Seems a shame because the actors are all so well respected. Makes sense it was based on a play but I’m not sure how well it translated to the screen.
