So worth the rewatch, one of my absolute favorites films. Something about Marcel’s story speaks to my heart in a way I find difficult to put into words. I don’t think I have ever watched a film with such a natural dialogue. One that handles serious topics and delicate topics beautifully. And despite the sad and difficult things that happen the film still manages to make me laugh all the way through. Marcel is so charming and witty I adore everything he says. Honestly I could go on forever, I love this movie!

I cannot fully express how much I loved this movie.
The idea of found family throughout the film was touching; from the birthday card scene to mason’s speech about his parents, the message that you create your family was beautiful. That family is the people you love and who love you. Especially considering the broken and abusive relationships that most characters had with their biological family members.
