Ripley 2024
Haven't finished this yet but am absolutely in awe of the artistry behind it. The storytelling, the writing, the perspectives, the irony, the symbolism, the acting of course... I don't like the connotations of "entertainment" but I am definitely entertained. Bonus points for offering such a nuanced, soulful depiction of Italy in the 60s and for casting actual Italians as opposed to Hollywood actors who butcher the language.
