Bones and All 2022
the last twenty minutes had me wanting to puke. i read the book in anticipation of watching this and i can easily say the book was better. if i hadn't read it, maybe this would have been more enjoyable. of course cinematically it was beautiful with luca as the director, but jeez the story felt dragged and incomplete. still can't get over the ending though. yikes that was tough to watch.

well if anyone ever thought the original aladdin was too good have i got a movie for you! an off brand genie that overcompensates for the fact that it is not robin williams, songs that dont really sound right, and aladdin fully believing one of the villains from the first movie can magically become his sidekick, what more could you ask for!

not really sure why this is such a cult classic- the script was awful, mary jane is annoying, they definitely spent far too much time teaching people how to scream at literally the top of their lungs. what the heck was that movie? still not a superhero movie fan.
