  Such a pleasure to follow Tanztheater Pina Bausch company on different stages, Wuppertal, Milan and Avignon in 1983.

  Chantal Ackerman who directed the movie says that when she first saw Pina’s piece she felt a great joy but after following the company during 5 weeks she had to close her eyes sometimes, this is exactly what I feel about Pina’s work, it makes you full of joy seeing how love can be but also makes you feel tremendously sad like a spontaneous suffering far from melancholy, seeming as an instant feeling called passion.
