  After reading the book in two days, I couldn't watch to watch this. To say I was disappointed wouldn't be fair, but I went in with such high expectations and to leave a four star review feels underwhelming. Due to the dark tones the book enforced, I was expecting (and hoping) for a bleaker, more horror-centric ending.

  I enjoyed the film, the colour palette, social commentary and and absurdity throughout. Definitely original, endlessly surprising and will keep you guessing until the credits roll. I would recommend if you're a fan of A24 content.

  Visually breathtaking, but I feel like the story becomes a bit muddled and loses its way in the final act. Develops into styles ovver substance, but definitely worth a watch
