I rewatched this after The Big Picture talked about this as one of the top 25 movies of the 21st century. It blew me away this time around with its tight script and editing, perfect casting, and an ending that’s dropped on you and takes a few minutes to sink in (and they give you those minutes). Fantastic film.

Little Women 2019
I loved the 90s version with Winona Ryder, but this one is better in just about every way (save for maybe the soundtrack). Gerwig adds depth to this well-worn story and manages to elevate the material, making it all the more relevant now. And the cast here is top notch across the board. Fantastic film.
