a few years ago i was at dinner with one of my friends family at this italian restraunt. during the meal we started talking about horror movies and i gave some bullshit speel about how i thought the shining was the scariest movie i’ve ever seen. my friends mom told me that this was by far the scariest movie she has seen. for some reason i disregarded the movie and didn’t watch it until now. beautifully shot and for the most part really well written. definitly scary to me but this has to be a terrifying movie to watch if your a parent.
