This review may contain spoilers. I can handle the truth.
I was prepared to give this 4 stars but once I finished it, I had to deduct a star. It was very solid until the end. Changing perspectives at the end was a mistake, in my opinion. What makes this movie worthwhile is following the killer and his perspective, once they switch that it loses steam and fizzles out. Shame. Thanksgiving 2023
This was a lot of fun. What else can I say? Total throwback that was paced and executed like a classic slasher with no frills. Bloody and Gory kills that had me exclaiming "Holy shit!" In the middle of the theater. It didn't reinvent the wheel but it doesn't need to. it was made by a horror fan for horror fans. I was laughing, I was gasping. It was a great time. Can't wait for part 2.
