The Batman 2022
This review may contain spoilers. I can handle the truth.
I’ve honestly never been a fan of the Batman character. I’ve always thought the character felt stuffy. I could never understand why a character with so many economic resources would think crime-fighting in a bat suit would be the solution to Gotham’s problems.

Problemista 2023
Alejandro is easily one of my new favorite characters. This is such a fun, creative, and heartfelt movie with one of the best mic-drop moments to exist.

2001: The Making of a Myth 2001
I have hundreds of things I can say about the brilliance of 2001: A Space Odyssey and its visionary director, Stanley Kubrick. But my main takeaway from this documentary is that I never really knew what James Cameron looked and sounded like. But honestly, who does?
All jokes aside though, I really need to write a serious review of 2001. No other science fiction movie comes close to touching this masterpiece.

The Fly 1986
While The Fly isn’t for everyone, I think this movie is perfect. It’s not every day you come across a movie that is simple in premise but extreme in execution. It’s been said before, but I’ll say it again: The Fly is a masterclass in practical effects. I wish I would’ve watched this movie sooner. It’s clear why The Fly is known for being one of the greatest of all time in both the sci-fi and horror genre.
