This review may contain spoilers. I can handle the truth.
Lord. I loved this but it was possibly one of the worst films I've ever watched.
It's not even that it's so bad it's entertaining. It actually does have some ideas that are... Well, maybe not brilliant, but decent. But it's all coated in a thick layer of (possibly psychotropically induced) insanity, for lack of better terms.
The story just plainly makes 0 sense at times, but there's an underlying layer of "I kinda get what you're trying to get to, and I appreciate the attempt". It's all just awfully executed, but it's not impossible to see that as a strength.
Christopher Walken could start a Twitch channel where he just talks about nothing for hours on end and I wouldn't miss a second of it
I did not expect Walton Goggins's performance, partially blown away by that.
Also it's extremely unfair how many cool ass mfs Samuel L Jackson got to interpret in his acting career, just like it's unfair he remains cool after receiving a bullet in his nether regions. How does one get castrated and remain cool?
Brilliant movie, btw, I feel like ending on the note of castrated Samuel L Jackson wasn't what it deserved but sadly that's how life goes at times
