I remember the first time I watched Mid90s was on holidays with my cousins in Newcastle in 2020 at around 2am. I was with my older cousin who had more maturity and understanding on what was actually occurring and why everything happened the way that it did in the film - such as; the brother beating up the younger brother, the influence of drugs, and the older girl taking advantage of Stevie.
