This movie does a good job of making you feel just as trapped as she does at the funeral. The anxiety it portrays is also pretty crazy and it is truly one thing after another. I would’ve hated to be in her shoes and it also reminded me how much I hate when I drive with people to an event and then I can’t leave when I actually want to. That’s the worst and my nightmare situation.
She ate a bagel with lox even though she’s vegetarian because she was so stressed and yeah. Relate
Beautiful, truly. This movie shows the complexities of life and being a teenager in such a poignant way, portraying both sides of the same coin and how those sides pull us in different directions. All these aspects of reality exist at the same time, and every experience is valid in its own way. Her relationship with her mother, how her ex pointed out that somebody can be scary and soft at the same time- something that is hard to recognize…
This is a nice, quaint movie. It’s very beautiful and I like the animation style. I think on a bad day this would be comforting to watch. Not too much happens, and there’s definitely a time and place when you need something like that to watch. Nothing to not like, nothing to super write home about for me either though
