i keep googling “cozy comfort films,” and i keep
watching them and enjoying them.
i had seen this before, but forgotten how touching it is at the end. for a man who lost his father in 2016, this movie connected with me a little further than I expected.
very “live every day like it’s your last” and less rom-com than you’d think. who cares! thank you for this movie, richard curtis.

this was very ambitious, daring. i liked the irreverent humor though the lincoln center (LIINA) audience was not dying of audible laughter for a majority of the film and nor was i.
rob needed to be hotter. this funky accent was so distracting and disservice imho. though it was very convincing and i think the creative choices there were bold, smart. i just want my sexy rob back ok? im allowed to want this while also respecting it!

2024 packing in some sleeper hits! loved this. need more papal-political thrillers with twists. it was funny! esp bc the characters played so honestly. took me a min to get their names. loved the shot of all the cardinals walking with their white umbrellas.
one problem i had was that they all had so much dust on them after the incident. feel like they would’ve cleaned that off better??
one of the most memorable parts of this movie was that i had to ask Monk aka Tony Shalhoub to move bc he was in my seat. sorry tony-monk!
