  This was so disapointing. I thought this film was going to be about teens resistenting the Nazi's after organizing in underground clubs. It is actually about insufferable teens talking down to everyone about jazz. These kids are not revolutionaries. They are priviledged jerks. They don't care about the suffering of the Jewish people. Like, one of the kids cares, but that's because he's already ostrasized because of a disability. This is one of the most pretensious film's I've ever seen. Why was this made?

  The ending of this film was spoiled for me about a decade before I saw it and that kind of hurt it. I can see the technical skill behind this film and can appreciate it, but it was a chore to watch it. I did not enjoy the experience and kept wishing I could watch The Wolf Man instead.
