  One of the best end sequences in a movie. The character build up and progression is amazing as we get subtle clues and queues on characters progressing like Andrew and his newfound confidence and Fletcher’s manipulations with little remorse.  For a movie about band you are on the edge of your seat with constant twist and turns and both J.K Simmons and Miles Teller are at their best. Also drums are the most painful instrument it seems.

  I was surprised how well this held up today. This was my first ever viewing and despite knowing the rough idea of what would happen i was entertained through out. Dr Frankenstein was a fun character to watch and the laboratory and german alps were fun settings. Despite its age the story and acting felt strong with my main criticism being how abrupt the movie ends. Also the monster itself has such a great design and personality that leaves you feeling sorry for it but also understanding why it was a threat.

  This movie felt like Tim Burton sitting down and coming up with wild and wacky scenarios and characters first, then stitching together a plot after.  I enjoyed seeing more of the afterlife and all of the odd characters and visual gags which kept the movie from getting boring. Michael Keaton also does a great job as Beetlejuice and I liked seeing how Winona Ryder portrayed an adult Lydia who has had to deal with ghost haunting her through her adult…
