The Zone of Interest 2023
i liked this movie a lot, i think the way it portrayed the extreme tragedy of the holocaust through subtle visual cues and background audio, relying on presupposed knowledge rather than fully showing it was really intelligently executed, it prevents audiences from becoming desensitised to the violence through oversaturation. the characters made me think about the uncertain boundaries between the witness and the spectator.
