Alien: Covenant 2017
It looks great, with Ridley Scott’s direction and a solid cast trying their best with what they have. The sets and props are impressive, and the music works well, but the story falls flat once you dig deeper.

Prometheus 2012
looks amazing—visually, it’s top-notch with great sets and props. The whole creator vs. creation idea is pretty cool, but the movie leaves you with a lot of questions and not enough answers. The script’s decent, but it doesn’t have the same organic vibe as Alien. The second half drags a bit and the ending’s frustrating, leaving you wanting more. It’s a solid sci-fi flick, but if you’re expecting Alien levels of tension and clarity, you’ll probably be as disappointed as I was.
