Parasite 2019
Need to watch again to really appreciate it because it was so apparent that every detail tied back to colonialism and capitalism. Especially how they used the English language as a consistent indicator of class and how both sides used it to their advantage.

What could have easily turned into a much more stereotypical action-drama was well portrayed as the authentic life of Bell. The Coen Brothers do an excellent job of including dialogue that doesn’t really address the issues at hand, but rather shows the true, sometimes dull, aspects of human life (e.g. talking about week-old coffee with Uncle Ellis or about your dreams over breakfast after you’ve just retired.) Even in violent circumstances such as these, we’re just people, and time continues to pass by.
