ok so this movie isn't perfect but I would like to brush right past that!
its no wonder why filmmakers haven't succeeded at making better films about pop stars because this movie already exists.
all these actors playing pop stars are always missing at least one of two things in their performance: Great vocals and well-written songs.
this movie has both, and it's all thanks to Whitney Houston, who is the best vocalist in the history of recorded music, full stop!
