The Truman Show 1998
Was supposed to watch the first 30 mins of this film and then study for an exam - ended up watching the entire thing. The acting by Jim Carrey was phenomenal and the soundtrack amazing. Brought up deep psychological dilemmas which caused you to reflect on the ideas that we accept the reality which we are presented. Besides some poorly written dialogue at certain points, this film really affects you. You feel hooked at every moment in the story. This film is heart felt, warm, deep, and sophisticated, and does what you hope any good film does - makes you feel something.
