Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny

    ★★★

If you like Indiana Jones at all you should like this. This was far more enjoyable than what I was led to believe by people online. Its opening sequence was an amazing way to open the film and overall it felt like almost classic Indy. An entertaining movie that has about the same amount of fun and nonsense the other movies have but it’s done better than the previous entry

“That’s the dumbest thing I have ever heard in my life”

There are parts of this movie that is so true to this quote. This movie is surprisingly really fun and yet it is the most insane thing I have watched it a while. There are so many “gotcha” and just flat out “what the fuck?” moments that it is absurd. There are also so many moments with horrible VFX and yet I loved it. I can easily say I wouldn’t mind rewatching this but in no means is it good. Nice to see directors just getting weird with it still

Grief can bring itself in many different forms and I can definitely see what made Kieran nominated (and go to win the Oscar) but besides a couple moments throughout the movie I thought it was fine. Some beautiful shots of Poland and an interesting journey, Jesse did a great job both writing and directing this as his debut

  • Constantine

    Constantine

    ★★★

A fun time and Keanu plays Constantine well. I loved Tilda’s Gabriel and I loved the action. Definitely a product of its time but it still also holds up relatively well, wouldn’t mind seeing the sequel that’s been in demand for quite some time
