    Armando having the chance to tackle such a perfect part of history with his usual political satire could have been better, but I think I am too dyed in the wool of the thick of it’s fast fire comedic references that I feel like it fell short.

    still worth a watch but if I had to choose either it would always be the thick of it.

    Cassavetes visual grainy style is all over this,the way this is shot makes you feel like you have your face up to the glass with these characters in the red dripped neon lights and seediness of sunset boulevard.

    Ben Gazzara’s Cosmo Vittelli is a loveable character and despite his ill luck he can still find some kind of joy within the situation.

    Now excuse me I must indulge in some gopher tail stew 🦫.
