Never Hike Alone 2017
This is such a fantastic fan-film! I love the slow introduction of Jason as well as the escalation of pacing throughout the movie. Also, using a vlogging convention is pretty cool—it’s a nice touch. I may be a bit biased on this, but my favourite part was Tommy Jarvis’ cameo at the end, it was just so perfect, and it makes a lot of sense that he would possibly become and EMT. All around, this fan-film pays respectful homage to the franchise, and actually builds upon the better aspects of it without needing to reference the latter, more unfortunately low quality films.

In comparison to the other films in the franchise, this movie is a freaking masterpiece.
