  All the product placement felt very 30 Rock satire because it was so blatantly lazy. Also, pretty wretched southern accent from janelle monáe. She was great despite it though.

  Vicious cycles of poverty, revenge, and corruption sprinkled with some adorable nicknames.

  Loved this movie as a kid. The thought of skipping school was all I needed. 

  Now, it’s way more about the circumstances, and Cameron’s existential crisis and relationship with his father. I think any high school senior needs to see this movie at the start and end of their year.
