A Birder's Guide to Everything 2013
Watched this for my partner because it was filmed at their high school, but it was quite boring. I’m a sucker for a good independent, indie, coming of age film but this one was too boring and stereotypical to take note of. Birds are annoying, dead moms are basic, and teenagers are annoying. Anatomy of a Fall 2023
Acting was very believable, the French know how to pick their cast, and script was great, but I’m a little tired of seeing trial movies that don’t have a satisfying result. It left me feeling itchy and confused (prob the fucking point) but I guess can appreciate a good unanswered mystery. Also, could’ve EASILY done without a dog puking thanks so much.

Kinda like birdbox where the main character has been through hell and back but still manages to find lipgloss and eyeliner. Millie’s back at it with the screaming and crying which is her speciality, but the movie itself was pretty basic and predictable. Did love her little transformation from renaissance princess to young black widow, tho, short red hair suits her

Needs to wins many awards. Completely incredibly done, actors are fresh and new in media, it’s so accurate to the true telling of events, and i think it’s a story that needs to be told. It’s heartbreaking and gut wrenching but done in a way that doesn’t exploit the real survivors and moreso draws awareness to what they went through.
