Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 2023
In my personal, completely biased opinion, this is the best film out of the GOTG trilogy. Due to in part being that Rocket is my favorite character out of the crew, so the fact that we get a film centered around him and his existential dilemma. It’s invigorating to have a marvel movie that introduces big new characters and a sped through backstory but still feel very grounded. I’d also have to say the funniest out of the three, although it’s a close competition with the original.

River Wild 2023
Another Netflix classic; Lower budget, high intensity thriller. Pretty solid casting with Adam Brody and Leighton Meester, however the big curveball for me, and a large reason as to why I enjoyed the movie, was the casting of Taran Killam as the protagonist’s (Meester) older brother Gray. Commonly known more for his comedic, light hearted and unserious roles, it was very refreshing seeing him take on a more chaotic and ignominious character. The premise for the movie is pretty straightforward…

Gone in the Night 2022
This movie had a decent premise in the beginning and seemed as if it was leading to some crazy twist. While crazy/weird, the ending left much to be desired and came out of left field, without any kind of story items to lead to such. Overall a decent watch but nothing to really leave you to talk about after.
