I was honestly really digging this one but maaaaan is it rough when the horde of literal demons is represented by just... a bunch of actual disabled people.... and some stereotypical "predatory lesbians"... I mean, it's a religious horror from 1977 so I frankly don't know what I expected. The scene where she stabs her dead dad fucking rules though. I love that 70s horror/giallo movie blood that just looks like red paint, it just has so much character to me.

Idk what it was about this movie but it just feels so sincere in its weirdness. It's like watching a live-action cartoon. Yeah a guy got impaled by a giant mosquito and the killer made fun little rubber masks of his victims with a machine more complex than anything remotely similar that exists irl why the fuck not. "SATURDAY NIGHT AT THE MOVIES!! WHO CARES WHAT PICTURE YOU SEE!!"
