  I absolutely love the camera work here. It's slow and allows us to really study the nuances in this film. It really felt like I was studying paintings. This film boast some beautiful visuals that perfecty uses the seasons to frame the story. This story reminds me alot of Jeff Lemire's Royal City and I love it.

  Blue is the visual tone of sadness and also represents Liberty. To combine those and explore how someone might try to find liberty on a much more personal and emotional level in response of grief is truly beautiful. The camera feels like it always finding inventive ways to capture its scenes. This is my first Kieślowski film and it blue me away! Can't wait to dig into more.
