Smiley Face 2007
Great moments but didn't come together how I wanted.
Some scenes were such great depictions of being really high but then others would just over do it a bit too much. I would have preferred a more grounded take throughout. Like the conversations in Jane's head of random shit was so true to the experience.
Ending also didn't entirely come together for me. It was close. But ultimately I felt a little underwhelmed with it's end. It's mostly fun over all with a few really great lines sprinkled throughout.

God I'm emotionally drained. Can't believe how essentially nothing in this movie didn't happen. This is tragic. Kind of film that would make you question and lose hope in humanity
It's a fucking outstanding film. Top tier Scorcese. Three amazing performances by Gladstone, De Niro and Di Caprio. There wasn't a minute of this that I could my eye or mind off.
Could be bumped to 5 stars with time.

Definitely the best one yet.
Everything I have issue with in the first 2 has been at least attempted to have been fixed here. Straight off the bat it looks so much better than the other 2. It largely ditched the shitty tv quality colour grading of before. I think given who he's killing at times that this is the most disturbing and fucked up and im there for it.
