Actually really good. It's a bit darker than the show but still a heartwarming story about parenthood and responsibility. It's very well written, animated and such a wholesome treat for any fans of the original show.

From a visual standpoint, the movie looks fantastic. The cinematography is excellent and very expressive. The electronic soundtrack is catchy and quite emotional.

What can I say? The cast is great, the humour is amazing, pacing is on-point, soundtrack is great and the practical effects are mindblowingly good. It's a very sincere movie and you can see the crew put a lot of effort and love into it.
Short circuit is simply one of my most favourite 1980s movies and I really recommend it.
