    I’m glad that unlike other films about communication disorders or degenerative diseases, this one doesn’t feel like torture porn, unlike “Wit” or “Still Alice”. Instead, this feels wholly honest and not appearing like it’s searching for awards. I really appreciated that about this film. I also think the unique POV, in the first half in particular, was an extremely strong framing device, but I feel that the film lost a bit of its luster as it started to move away from that more and more.
