Alright, I'm done crying. Time to write the review, goddamnit.
Okay, Saving Private Ryan is the greatest war movie ever made. It's violent and shocking, cold and unfriendly, but it's human. It's one of those movies, like Schindler's List, that's just so powerfully human. This movie will make you cry. It will make you see war through the eyes of those who fought it. Misguided, confused, as these poor soldiers struggled with their own morality and tried to achieve a common goal. This movie has everything, a great score, great acting, great cinematography, great everything. I love this movie.

Oh boy.
Alien invasion movies are, without a doubt, a dime a dozen these days. It has, without a doubt, become an increasingly cliched subject matter. Arrival is different. Arrival takes everything you think you know about an alien invasion movie and throws it out the window and gives you something infinitely better. I promise this movie will not let you down. It's excellent.
