The Dead Thing 2024

It's not at all the same, but the vibes are there. Recommend that story to anyone who liked this film.

Savage Hunt of King Stakh 1979
I loved this. The title I think is better translated as The Wild Hunt of King Stakh, and it's a magical drama with recognisably folk horror elements, but is drawing on Russian Gothic, I think? I know Soviet conventions and film making are a thing and that's something this is also doing, but I know nothing about it really, I just love films like this, and especially from eras and regions I've never seen films from before.
